Prior to starting the firm, Doug attained his Chartered Accountant designation while working with two office accounting firms for approximately eight years. He then gained extensive industry experience starting in 1996 when he joined a manufacturing company as Director of Finance.
In 2001, he moved to another industry sector taking a position of Controller of a transportation company. With several years of experience in both public accounting and industry, he started his own firm in 2005, providing both public accounting and management consulting services to his clients.
The firm has a wide array of clients ranging from service based law firms to manufacturing and not for profit organizations.
Doug has an Honors BA from University of Toronto majoring in both Commerce and Economics.
He is married and has been very active in the sports lives of his two sons for the past 15 years participating with coaching roles in both baseball and hockey.
